Stephen Quirk, Events Wrangler with a focus on WordCamps!

Silver Sponsor Highlight: Create My Voice Innovates with Voice Technology

Who are you?

Hi, I’m Pam, the owner of Create My Voice. My husband, Chip, and I enjoy running Create My Voice so that bloggers can put their content on Alexa and have it read aloud.  Our roles pretty much match our personalities.  Chip, the detail oriented technologist, loves everything to do with computers and technology, while I enjoy interacting with people, researching, and marketing. Chip calls me the big picture person, thus my title is CBPO, Chief Big Picture Officer. He is the CVO, Chief Voice Officer. We tend to balance each other and together we make a pretty good team.

What is the mission of your company?

We really believe smart speakers are going to change how everyone interacts with content. A study done by NPR and Edison Research interviewed smart speaker owners and said 71% of them listen to more audio than they did before, 30% of them said they are replacing time spent with other electronic devices with their smart speakers, and 92% said that they listen along with others in their household.  With Alexa already in homes, cars, hotel rooms, laptops, and phones, having content available on a smart speaker is becoming essential. Create My Voice creates personalized Alexa skills for bloggers so they can join the smart speaker community.
